Summary

He describes the meaning of the Notice to Appear (NTA) before the Court. Depending on each individual case, if you apply for asylum at the border, the first thing you may receive is a Notice to Appear before an Immigration Court known as an "NTA". You can see an example of an "NTA" here: help.asylumadvocacy.org/nta/. In most cases, the NTA informs you of the location of your court and also provides you with an Alien Number (A Number). It is very important to have this number as you will always need to use it if you have questions about your case.
